Established in 1999, we are a small, family-run company based in Somerset who specialise in the design and construction of traditional Oak-framed buildings.

The directors and founders James Fraser-Harris and Andrew Crabb have come to timber-framing through different routes. Andrew has over 16 years experience of restoring old timber buildings and building new ones, while James, originally a furniture-maker, has been running a sawmill specialising in native hardwoods for the last 20 years.

After helping out with some framing on a community project, Hayden Banwell-Moore joined the team and has now completed his apprenticeship. He has become a skilled carpenter and an invaluable part of the team.

We build anything from barns to boathouses and from log-stores to mansions.

So if you have a project in mind that can be built in Oak...
