A Barn in a Day
After weeks of preparation in the workshop, the frame is ready to be assembled on site. Interestingly, this is normally the first time that the whole frame will go together. We fit each mortise and tenon together individually during the manufacturing, but the whole frame is often too big to fit in the workshop! The photos in the gallery below show the roof fitted together in the workshop, but not the whole frame. The frame featured here was put up near Windsor on the 23rd November 2001.
