Dear James,

Thanks for all yours & the teams hard work and more importantly for actually offering a service and doing what you said you would do for a fair price... that seems a rare quality these days. We're delighted with the results. It's being blasted on Monday & the roof goes on Tues/Weds - as soon as its habitable we'll get you back for a drink!

Pass our thanks to Carrot & Selena - We'd recommend you at the drop of a hat....

Mark & Mandy, Bristol.

James & Carrot,

We cannot praise your glazing system enough. It has stood up to the hammering south-westerly gales with no problems. I only wish we'd found out about you before we had another company do the frame for the other part of the conversion. The ease with which the insulation, rafters and roofing went on your frame was so in contrast with our previous experience!!

James and Carrot

It was good to see you today, and I must congratulate your son, James, on a splendid start on the website.  And the picture you took of our cottage was not at all bad, despite the evening light.

If it is any help, do tell anyone to come and talk to me and look at ours, and we would happily try to be useful PR for you.

Will be in touch and look forward to your coming when it is finished.

Michael C (via e-mail), Aisholt.

Dear James & Carrot,

Please find enclosed cheques to cover the recent invoices. Everything looks really well and Susanne and I could not be more pleased with the trusses etc... We'll certainly be glad to let you have photographs as soon as we get to a more photogenic stage.

Very many thanks to you all for all the progress to date,

Adrian

Hello from Australia

Just came upon your site by accident while looking for something else
on crucks etc. Most impressed with your use of bent and crooked timber
in the structure. The barn restoration with its very crooked timbers
reminded me of some pictures I had seen of European barns in
particular. One other framer working in the bent timber tradition I
admire, is Henry Russell.

Your work stands out from a lot of mediocrity I see in the some of the
work pushed out over there in the UK. I find it amusing that the
domestic timber-framed tradition that so obviously inspires so many
people is not necessarily replicated in the frames turned out (no doubt
due to having to have a fair turnover of work to bring in the pounds).
Will keep an eye out on your website in future.
in the meantime it has given me a few ideas.......

Keep up the good work.

Cheers
